What does volatility mean?

Unlike RTP, which tells you how much a game can pay you on average, volatility reveals how those winnings are distributed: are they small, regular amounts, or big, rarer wins?

Two types of volatility:

High volatility: Wins are rarer but often bigger. Ideal if you enjoy taking risks.

Low volatility: Wins are more frequent but smaller. Perfect for a more consistent game experience.

Knowing whether a game has high or low volatility helps you to:

  • Choose a game based on your style (riskier or more relaxed)

  • Manage your budget better
